Biography

"Awesome" started out as a project involving actors Evan Mosher, John Ackermann, Kirk Anderson, John Osebald, Rob Witmer, David Nixon, and Basil Harris as a kind of cabaret act, something to amuse a crowd. As it grew in popularity, and the actors became better musical performers, "Awesome" turned into the group's main project. The album Delaware stemmed from a show of the same name performed at Seattle's Re-bar Theater from February 17-26, 2005, and then later in the year from October 7-29. The album combines theater, spoken word, children's songs, tight pop harmonies, and myriad sounds from the multi-instrumental members of the band. ~ Marisa Brown, Rovi
