Ayalon test
A test of explosive power consisting of measuring the time required to perform a half pedal turn of 180° with the left leg on a pedal of a cycle ergometer, braked by a load that can be set at either 2.9 kg or proportional to the subject's body weight. Power is estimated as the product of the force (equal to the resistance applied to the half circumference of the pedal) and the distance (equal to half the circumference of the pedal), divided by the time taken to perform the half pedal turn.
