Ayres Hall
Ayres Hall is a central iconic[1] and historic landmark[2] building at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The building was designed by Miller, Fullenwider and Dowling of Chicago, and completed in 1921. The building is named for Brown Ayres (1856–1919), the university's 12th president.[3] A detailed restoration was initiated in 2008.[4]
The Gothic Revival structure rises 42.67m above its base, and currently houses the Mathematics department of the University of Tennessee.
