Azalea Festival

Apr 1–30. Muskogee, OK. One of the oldest and most celebrated public parks in the southwest: 122 acres, 40 acres of manicured gardens with 30,000 azaleas of 625 varieties. Ranked in the top 100 events by the National Bus Association. Annually in April since 1967. Many related events take place during the month, including a parade and a chili cook-off.
