An antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including hay fever, and allergic conjunctivitis. It is available in a metered-dose pump spray and as eye drops on prescription only; a nasal spray specifically for the treatment of hay fever is available from pharmacies without a prescription.

Side effects:
include local irritation and the spray may cause taste disturbances.
