Another volume in another series of classical music collections for babies, Baby's Look & Listen: Sleep is a straightforward collection that could also double as a primer of classical's best-known compositions. Strauss' Blue Danube Waltz, the collection also features excerpts from Delibes' Coppelia and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and Nutcracker Suite. As solid as the collection's tracklisting is, however, not much of it is gentle or restful enough to set an appropriate atmosphere for sleep. If you disregard the album's intended purpose, though, it's a decent collection of classical music. Baby's Look & Listen: Sleep also comes with a DVD of shots of babies, puppies, and kittens that is supposed to help very young children focus their attention spans. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
