After several years' hiatus, Richie is back with a greatest-hits package that includes three brand new tracks. Most of the expected material is there, including several Commodores tracks (reminding just how brilliant a ballad "Easy" really is), so fans aren't going to be disappointed. Of the three new numbers, "Do It to Me" is the standout, with "Love, Oh Love," practically a "Lady" clone, being fairly forgettable. Back to Front is Lionel Richie's fourth album, which was released on May 5, 1992. It was his first compilation album with three new tracks (1-3). The international album also included the tracks "Dancing on the Ceiling" and "Stuck on You". It debuted at #1 on the UK Album Chart and spent 12 weeks at number one in the Dutch Album Top 100.
