It's doubtful that they will do that in the animated series. They might in the comics, but I seriously doubt she will ever come back in the animated series.

The name of the dark animated BBC comedy series from a few years back is "Monkey Dust."

As Sheik was introduced in Ocarina of Time, which was after the animated series, s/he is not in the animated series. Nor is the Zelda from the animated series the one who becomes Sheik.

Well the "Back to the Future" series certainly do.
