Biography

Backseat Goodbye is the stage alter ego of singer/songwriter Chad Sugg, who started making music as a college freshman in 2004. Drawing inspiration from the Format and Bright Eyes, Sugg began recording tunes in which he sang and played every instrument. Soon after, Sugg settled in Murfreesboro, TN, and began self-releasing EPs under the Backseat Goodbye moniker. The full-length debut Dressed Up Like Dreams was released in 2008. ~ Katherine Fulton, All Music Guide
