Swedish architectural partnership formed in 1936 by Sven Backstr?m (b Havdhem, Gotland, 20 Jan 1903) and Leif Reinius (b Stockholm, 24 May 1907). Both partners studied at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1925-9. Afterwards Backstr?m trained in the Architect's Office of the Cooperative Union and also, for a year, in the studio of Le Corbusier in Paris, while Reinius worked in the office of Hakon Ahlberg.
