Rodney "Boss" Bailey (born October 14, 1979 in Folkston, Georgia, U.S.A.) is an American football linebacker for the Detroit Lions of the NFL. He was selected with a second round (34th overall) pick in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions out of the University of Georgia. He is the younger brother of Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey, and received the nickname "Boss" from his mother.


Boss was known in college for his exceptional speed (4.35 40-yard sprint) and incredible jumping ability (an astonishing 48-inch vertical leap).
