Bairbre Dowling (born 27 March 1953) is an Irish actress.
Born in Dublin as Barbara Patricia Dowling, she was formerly married to Irish actor Colm Meaney, and is the daughter of Irish-American actor Vincent Dowling, and the late Irish actress, Brenda Doyle (who died in a car crash before 1978.)
She has appeared in relatively few TV shows and movies, the most recent performance being as a nun in the U.S. TV show Crossing Jordan in 2003. She also made a guest appearance on ER. With her now former husband, she appeared in the Irish film, War of the Buttons.
