Balaia

Balaia is a fictional country, featured in the Chronicles of The Raven, the Legends of The Raven and LightStealer, all by James Barclay. Balaia is also the name of the continent on which the country, Balaia, resides. Balaia (the continent) is split unevenly in two by a mountain range, with Balaia (the country) on the East and the Wesman lands on the West.

The peoples of Balaia (the continent) are:

• Balaians, humans from the country of Balaia;
• Wesmen, humans from the Western part of the Balaian continent
• Elves, who hail from Calaius, the Southern Continent
