With Simone's help, Honigen makes a successful debut during an out-of-town engagement. Among the ballets featured are Swan Lake and Coppelia. Ballerina premiered as a two-part installment of TV's Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, originally telecast February 27 and March 6, 1966; the two parts were combined into one and released theatrically in Europe. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
