Ballinagree (Irish: Baile na Graí) is a small village in County Cork, Ireland.[1]. Ballinagree and its surrounding areas comprise one of the richest areas in northern Europe for Megalithic monuments. It is located 18 miles (29km) west of Cork city, 8km north east of Macroom, 5km west of Rylane, 10km north west of Coachford and 19km of Blarney. It is in the Parish of Aghinagh that has Rusheen, Bealnamorive and parts of Carrigadrohid in it. It is famous for the song "Thady Quill".
