Balsamic
- In flavors, resembling the heavy flavor
character of the balsams. Usually present are heavier molecules like heavier
salicylates, heavier cinnamates, heavier cinnamyl esters,
etc.
- In fragrances,
it means a combination of vanilla with a woody background. See each of the
