Bamberger Reiter, a late 13th-c. equestrian statue in the interior of Bamberg Cathedral. This serene figure of a medieval nobleman has been variously identified as the Emperor Constantine, St Stephen, St George, Konrad III, and one of the Magi, but none of these attributions has been generally accepted.
