Banco de Chile (Bank of Chile) (IPSA Chile / NYSEBCH / BMAD: XBCH), is the second biggest banking group of Chile, behind Banco Santander Santiago and ahead of BBVA Chile. Founded on 28 October 1893 by the fusion of the banks Valparaiso (1855), National of Chile (1865) and Agriculturist (1869). Banco de Chile has traditionally led the Chilean financial market as one of the greatest banks in the pick up and deposits, and has been successful in terms of return of assets and yield for its shareholders. At the moment Banco de Chile belongs to the Quiñenco group. Banco de Chile is a commercial bank that provides a complete product range and financial services to a large client base, that includes large corporations, small and medium companies and private clients, through a national network of 237 branches, 807 automatic tellers and other electronic channels of distribution. Operations are organized around six main commercial divisions: operations of large corporations, small and medium companies, private clients, market of consumption, international banking activities and capital market operations. Additionally, filial companies complete the range of financial services with operations of securitization, securities brokerage, mutual investment and bottoms, of insurances, financial and factoring consultant's office, among others. On more than 20 years of operative presence in the United States of America through its branch in New York, the Bank also counts on a branch in Miami, and a structure of present offices of representation in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Hong Kong , thus providing international services and products in competitive and adapted conditions to the necessities of its clients.
