Banco Internacional de Costa Rica SA, or BICSA, helps Costa Ricans living in Panama and elsewhere in South America keep track of their colones and balboas. The bank offers business banking services (its main focus) like checking and money market accounts and foreign trade financing. Personal products include loans, checking and money market accounts, debit cards, and CDs. BICSA can also buy and sell currency, set up and administer trusts, issue credit cards, and conduct foreign currency trading. With offices in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama, and the US (Miami), the bank serves its international clients with checks drawn on foreign accounts. BICSA is owned by the Costa Rican government.
