Bang Bros is a network of Internet-based pornography; the network has a total of 29 websites, seventeen of which are active, and twelve no longer updated.[1] Bang Bros is a popular adult website run out of Miami, Florida. It is considered "Gonzo" style porn and is known for its humorous crew members and host.
Since 2008, daily page views have descended, as well as its daily traffic rank trend. [2] In 2007, the network generated a sales total of 1.9 million dollars. [3]
It has a series of sites which all focus on different ways the crew picks up girls and eventually either the camera man or different crew members have oral sex before advancing to intercourse in various positions. Intercourse and other antics often take place inside the "Bang Bus", a van with most seats removed, for usually the entirety of the film. In many cases, the subjects are tricked out of their pay or abandoned in the wrong neighborhood. In other cases the girls are first filmed showing various parts of their body.
The crew consists of a camera operator, sound technician, and star.
These are not actual reality porn sites, as in all circumstances the girls are prearranged to be picked up, and many appear on other "reality porn" sites under different names. Many famous female pornstars have also appeared, including Sara Jay and Flower Tucci on many occasions.
Legal problems
BangBros Inc was sued by the U.S. government in June 2005 for violating the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Adult Labeling Rule and Federal CAN-SPAM Act [4]. The company failed to follow the rule that requires commercial emailers of sexually explicit material to use the phrase "sexually explicit" in the subject line. The company settled the lawsuit for $650,000 and also agreed to allow its operations to be monitored to ensure that it will comply with the law in the future. It has been reported that the company did not actually send out the emails, but is still liable because they hired third parties to do so on their behalf. [5]
