Review

The Sugarplastic's major-label debut album is an infectious collection of fizzy, cute pop songs. Occasionally, their hooks are too cloying to catch hold, but the majority of Bang, the Earth Is Round is an ingratiatingly sweet collection of McCartneyesque pop, spiked with the quirkiness of Jonathan Richman.
