Thanks to its status as a major label, Sony was able to gather some of the better lounge songs out there for its compilation Bar Lounge Classics. Thievery Corporation, Jazzanova, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Morcheeba, and Kid Loco, among others, are all included, and the tracks, which move from bossa nova to jazz to pop are all warm and inviting while still retaining their clubby, electronica vibe. It's a very nice collection overall, and should be enjoyable to any fan of good, earthy lounge and house. ~ Marisa Brown, Rovi
