The recordings of this album was inspired by the appearance of the comet Hale Bopp and tells the story of the elements within ourselves in their original, harmonious relationship with nature. Barakaya is based on the tribal myths of the Xavante Indians. With this production, Gandalf comes closer to his goal of creating a cross-cultural, global music than ever before.
