Barbara Weathers

Review

After enjoying some success with Atlantic Starr, Barbara Weathers went solo in 1990. Although Maurice White produced and co-wrote the track "Anywhere," this was a standard cover-all-bases debut project. Weathers didn't demonstrate any individuality, style, charm, or appeal, and wound up with the same kind of open-ended, meandering release as another former Atlantic Starr vocalist gone solo, Sharon Bryant. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
