Bardsey

A small island (444 acres) in north Cardigan Bay, Gwynedd. The Welsh name for the island is Ynys Enlli. According to the Welsh Triads, Merlin settled here to live in a glass house with the Treasures of Britain. St Cadfan founded a monastery here in the 6th century.
