Barrie South GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in Barrie, Ontario in Canada. It is the northern terminus of the Barrie line train service. It began operating on December 17, 2007,[1] with the first morning train leaving the station at 05:43 that day.[2] Construction for the station began in June 2007.[3]

The station restores GO train service to Barrie, which was cut in the 1990s. Barrie Transit buses provide public transit access to the rest of the city. As of December 2008, the station is used by around 675 riders per day, up from 350 at the time of its opening.[4]

The station is served by four trains heading southbound to Toronto in the morning, and four trains heading northbound in the afternoon/evening. No train service is provided on weekends or holidays.
