Barrington Township is one of thirty townships in Cook County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 14,026[1]. The northwestern corner of the Cook County panhandle, it is the county's northwesternmost township.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Barrington Township covers an area of 36.02 square miles (93.3 km2); of this, 34.98 square miles (90.6 km2) (97.11 percent) is land and 1.04 square miles (2.7 km2) (2.89 percent) is water.
The township contains these two cemeteries: Evergreen and Union.
