Barukh Ha-Shem
("Blessed be the Name [i.e., of the Lord]"). Phrase of thanksgiving, equivalent to "Thank God" or "Thank heaven." Sometimes it is extended to Barukh Ha-Shem yom yom, "Blessed be the Lord every day" (Ps. 68:20).
