On one of the earliest and best of the Count Basie jams for Pablo, Basie sounds very high-spirited pushing the combative trumpeter Roy Eldridge, tenor saxophonist Johnny Griffin and vibraphonist Milt Jackson on two blues and a lengthy version of "Lester Leaps In."
