Bassett is a suburb and electoral ward of Southampton, England. The suburb lies to the north of the city centre and is bounded by Lordswood, Bassett Green and Highfield.
Bassett is the location of the University of Southampton's Glen Eyre Halls of residence complex and the Southampton Sports Centre. Other landmarks include St. Michael's church, and Bassett Avenue, the main road into Southampton from the north.
