The municipalities of Mabini, Bauan, San Pascual, Tingloy on Maricaban Island in the Bay, and Batangas City are located on the coast of the bay. The water surface area of the bay is about 220 km² (85 mi²), and the coastline approximately 470 kilometres (290 mi).
