Batgirl: To Dare the Darkness is an audio story that tells of Batgirl -- that is, the Batgirl that was introduced in the box-office disappointment Batman & Robin -- as she battles the wicked Black Mask and the False Face Society of Gotham. Batgirl has to decide whether to continue fighting evil or hang up her cape and return to her idyllic teenage life.
