Game Description

Based on the 1992 movie, Batman Returns follows the Caped Crusader's quest to stop The Penguin and Catwoman from taking over Gotham City. The overly straightforward Double Dragon-style gameplay can get repetitive, but the game is helped by above average graphics, well-composed music and welcome opportunities to drive the Batmobile and Batskiboat. The driving sequences and wide variety of foes Batman faces break up the monotony just enough to keep things interesting.

Batman Returns is based on the Tim Burton-directed feature film released to theaters in 1992. Michael Keaton, who starred in 1989's Batman, reprised his role as the Caped Crusader.
