Bay Parkway (formerly Bay Parkway – 22nd Avenue) is an express station on the BMT West End Line of the New York City Subway, located in Brooklyn at the intersection of Bay Parkway and 86th Street, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
Although both platforms have signs indicating M trains use the express track, that track is not usually used at all, and M trains operate from local track. There are no switches at the north end of the station to allow trains to use the express track but such switches are present at the south end and are used for M trains to reverse course back to Manhattan.
The mezzanine is metal with concrete floors. The station has two stairs to each platform and its windows are usable and are facing to the west. However on the area over Bay Parkway to any of the 4 street stairs, there is black tar covering what were once windows.
There is a tower on either end of the station.
