Bay Parkway

Wikipedia: Bay Parkway (Brooklyn)

Bay Parkway is a street that cuts through a major part of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It starts at Ocean Parkway and continues in a southwest direction to Bath Beach, Bensonhurst Park, Shore Parkway, and a shopping plaza on Gravesend Bay. It mainly runs through the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. Along Bay Parkway are many Chinese and Russian stores and a few remaining Italian- American bakeries. Bay Parkway was known as 22nd Avenue until the 1930's when the name was changed to "Bay Parkway" to facilitate large scale apartment type residential development. The only remaining reference to 22nd ave is the 22nd Ave signage at the ends of the Bay Parkway BMT Sea Beach "N" line subway stop. The station dates to 1915 when it serviced the 22nd ave stop and "Bay Parkway" did not exist.

Bay Parkway has three New York City Subway stops:
