Plot

However, it turns out he only had amnesia and has been recovering in a Los Angeles hospital. His new fiancée, Allison Ford (Alexandra Paul), resembles his old lover, Lt. Stephanie Holden (also played by Alexandra Paul), who died during the seventh season of Baywatch. However, she is cooperating with an old nemesis of Mitch's, Mason Sato (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) from the second season, to get revenge on Mitch.
Meanwhile, C.J. (Pamela Anderson) is opening a bar and grill in Hawaii and invites many of the old lifeguards from Baywatch there for a reunion including Caroline Holden (Yasmine Bleeth). Mitch's ex-wife, Neely Capshaw (Gena Lee Nolin), also shows up in an attempt to get Mitch back.

Lists of miscellaneous information should be avoided. Please relocate any relevant information into appropriate sections or articles. (January 2008) |
- The reunion movie had been postponed three times for various reasons. One of the main reported reasons being Pamela Anderson's high salary of $500,000 out of a $5million budget.
- Reportedly, many of the cast & crew's salary had to be reduced to fund Andersons salary.
- Fox refused to greenlight the project until Anderson was on board.
- The L.A. beach shots were originally planned to be shot on location, but due to lack of funding, they had to be shot in Hawaii.
- Show creator Douglas Schwartz had planned for the series to be revived if the movie was successful.
- Kelly Packard, David Chokachi, Erika Eleniak & Donna D'Erico were originally planned to star but could not come to contract agreements.
- The original title for the movie was Baywatch Blast.
- 25 of the main actors & actresses from the series were offered contracts but many of them went unsigned.
- There was reportedly 3 pay scales. 1) Reserved for Hasselhoff alone. 2) Main stars such as Pam Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, Gena Lee Nolin, David Chokachi, Erika Eleniak & Nicole Eggert. 3) Rest of the cast, Jeremy Jackson etc. These pay scales did not hold, with Pamela Anderson receiving the largest salary.
- Alexandra Paul was originally offered a cameo as Stephanie's ghost.
- Only three first-season Baywatch members appeared in the movie: David Hasselhoff, John Allen Nelson and Billy Warlock. Warlock and Hasselhoff are original cast members, while Nelson joined the series a short time later.
- Erika Eleniak (Season 1, 2 & 3 as Shauni McClain) was also contacted about being in the movie, she really wanted to be in it but couldn't accept due to prior engagements with another project
