Bdeogale is a genus of three species of mongoose native to the rainforests of central and western Africa. They are primarily terrestrial and insectivorous.

- Jackson's Mongoose, Bdeogale jacksoni - Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda
- Black-footed Mongoose, Bdeogale nigripes - Angola, Cameroon, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria
Conservation status
The IUCN Red List lists B. jacksoni as vulnerable, B. crassicauda as endangered, due largely to habitat loss and fragmentation.
