"Be Like That" is the title of a song recorded by the American post-grunge band 3 Doors Down. It was released in June 2001 as the fourth single from the album, The Better Life. It peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the U.S. for the week ending November 10, 2001.^[1] An alternate version of the song was made, for American Pie 2. The American Pie 2 version had minor lyric changes.

A video was also made for this version directed by Liz Friedlander.

Content

Lead singer Brad Arnold stated that "Be Like That" is about following your dreams, as well as a little bit about missing out on dreams and regretting it.
