Beach Park is a touristic complex on the coastline of the Northeast Region, Brazil, situated in the Metropolitan region of Fortaleza on the beach of Porto das Dunas, 16 km from Fortaleza, in the municipality of Aquiraz. Distributed along an area totaling 170 thousand m² (the aquatic park area is 35,000 m²). It is one of the principal tourist attractions in the country.
The Beach Park complex possesses a complete structure for tourism and entertainment, being one of the largest in the country. It is composed of the Beach, Aquatic Park and Resort, where close to 700 thousand people visit every year to have fun, relax, host and do business right alongside the natural beauty of the coast of Ceará.
Beach Park is today affiliated with important national and international centers of tourism and entertainment. They are part of the World Waterpark Association (WWA), the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), the Brazilian Association of Restaurants and Entertainment Companies (ABRASEL), the Brazilian Association of the Hospitality Industry (ABIH) and the Aquiraz Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB).
Among the awards that Beach Park already won are: Quality WWA, Industry Leadership WWA, Best Park in the Country (O Estado Newspaper) and Best Theme Park (Viagem e Turismo Magazine).
Beach Park was one of the filming locations for the film O Noviço Rebelde (Brazilian adaptation of The Sound of Music).
