1. Australia (Tasmania): originally Cabbage Tree Hill, it was renamed Brandy Creek when gold was found in the area in 1870, it was renamed again in 1879 after Benjamin Disraeli (1804–81), 1st Earl of Beaconsfield, twice British prime minister (1868, 1874–80).
2. Canada (Quebec): also named after Disraeli's title.
3. UK (England): formerly Bekenesfelde 'Open Country around a Beacon' from the Old English feld.
