Beech on the Run
Beech on the Run was a one-off TV episode which continued the story of the disgraced Sunhill police officer Don Beech. After four years in The Bill Beech's web of deceit had finally become unravelled and he was forced to forge a new life in Australia.
The special episode followed Don's new life in Australia as he endeavoured to set up a life of leisure and luxury funded by crime and various illegal scams. Don's new paradise came to an end though thanks to a vengeful former colleague and he subsequently onboard a boat when it exploded. Whether or not he was killed was left open. A follow-up series Beech is Back revealed he had survived the explosion and had used it to fake his death and return to Britain.
Don Beech was played by the actor Billy Murray.
