Bellevue Community College (BCC) is a community college located in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. Serving 35,000 students per year, Bellevue Community College is the largest community college and second largest institution of higher education overall in Washington state (behind the University of Washington and ahead of Washington State University). BCC offers associate's degree programs covering the first two years of a college education as well as degrees, certificates and continuing education programs in information technology, telecommunications, business, health sciences, social sciences, educational development and numerous other professional and technical fields. Several of its degree and certificate programs are also offered online.

In September of 2007, BCC will offer a Bachelor of Applied Science in Radiation and Imaging Sciences, the only degree program of its kind in the state and one of just a few in the nation. The BCC baccalaureate program is designed for nationally certified professionals in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine. Two concentrations will be offered: Radiation and Imaging Management, for students who wish to lead radiation and imaging departments and clinics, and Radiation and Imaging Technology, for students seeking advanced technical expertise.

Many students earn their college freshman and sophomore credits here (and receive an associate degree), and then transfer to a four-year institution to continue their education. Concentrations are available in 60 subjects. BCC leads all Washington two-year colleges in sending students on to finish their four-year degree. Graduates who transfer to a four-year college perform as well as the students who started at the four-year school.

Bellevue's Professional and Technical programs are designed to help students get into the workforce right away. Programs are offered in more than 90 fields, including such in-demand careers as hihgh-tech, nursing and health sciences.

Bellevue Community College is the largest and most comprehensive provider of continuing education among Washington two-year colleges, with more than 500 subjects to choose from.
