Coordinates: 44°46′7″N 39°52′24″E / 44.76861°N 39.87333°E Belorechensk (Russian: Белоре́ченск) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is located on, and takes its name from, the Belaya River. Population: 54,028 (2002 Census).
It was established as a cossack settlement in 1863. Town status granted in 1958.
During the Soviet era, a corrective labor camp was located here.
