Bełżec [ˈbɛu̯ʐɛt​͡s] is a village in Tomaszów Lubelski County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Bełżec. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south of Tomaszów Lubelski and 114 km (71 mi) south-east of the regional capital Lublin.[1]

During World War II it was the site of the Nazi Bełżec extermination camp.
