Häger, Bengt (b Malmö, 27 Apr. 1916). Swedish museum director and author. He worked with several companies as impresario and in 1950 founded the Stockholm Dance Museum which he directed until 1989. In 1963 he also became founder director of the Swedish State Dance School, leaving in 1971. He has sat on numerous committees and boards including the Carina Ari Memorial Foundation and is author of several books and articles on dance including Les Ballets Suédois (Paris, 1989).
