Bertha is a former settlement in Lake County, California.^[1] It was located 1 mile (1.6 km) northwest of Laurel Dell.^[1]

A post office operated at Bertha from 1879 to 1900 when it was transferred to Laurel Dell.^[1] The name honored the postmaster's wife.^[1]
