Berwick St John is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, UK. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 398. The village is about six miles east of Shaftesbury in Dorset, at grid reference ST947223.
For a number of years international pop music star Madonna lived approximately 4 miles (7km) due south of the village on the large Ashcombe estate.
