Best of 2 Super Groups collects five tracks apiece from two of the late '60s' best-known bubblegum bands, Ohio Express and 1910 Fruitgum Co. The Fruitgum Co.'s "Simon Says," "1, 2, 3 Red Light," and "Indian Giver" sum up the band's bouncy pop, while Ohio Express' "Yummy Yummy Yummy," "Chewy Chewy," and "Sweeter than Sugar" capture the best of that group's sweets-obsessed work. Indeed, for casual bubblegum fans who like both bands -- but not enough to buy full retrospectives of either -- Best of 2 Super Groups could be just the ticket for a quick-and-cheap sugar fix. ~ Heather Phares, All Music GuideTracks
