Review

Best of Christmas features the Starlite Choir and the People's Symphony Orchestra performing a variety of holiday favorites. This is a double-disc album, with the Starlite Choir performing the first disc and the People's Symphony Orchestra performing the second. There are a number of well-known songs featured -- "Silent Night," "Deck the Halls," and "Joy to the World," for example -- as well as a number of lesser-known songs such as "Come to the Manger," "Pat-A-Pan," and "Stille Nacht." This album should delight listeners who appreciate both choral and orchestral performances, even if it does get a little repetitious, with many songs appearing on both discs. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
