Best of Shooting Star, Vol. 2 features material from the Kansas City band's latter Geffen years, including cuts from Silent Scream, It's Not Over, and Leap of Faith. Fans will find it a worthy companion to the Star's first greatest-hits comp, which due to record company shenanigans, was only able to include earlier material. With their back catalog safely secured, Shooting Star have issued this retrospective as a remedy. Highlights include the Bad Company-ish "Are You on My Side," as well as the ballad "Couldn't Get Enough." Vol. 2 also includes live versions of earlier Shooting Star highlights "Hang on for Your Life," "Do You Feel Alright," and "Touch Me Tonight."
